Official Website of  Rochester's own Thought Phazer

With their unique alternative punk rock, Thought Phazer formed in the early spring of 2009. After a few small gigs at their local high school, the band quickly acquired a reputation as one of the most successful and most appreciated of all bands to come out of Brighton High School.

The band was started by the admired duo of Tommy Walsh on the Electric Guitar and Chad Hellman on drums. Soon their numbers grew, as they added Michael Clark on Keyboards and their best friend Ryan Burns on Bass Guitar; however, they soon found out that Clark’s skills were much more suited to managing the band itself, and they found Blaine Jensen to play keyboards. Mike still manages the band today. Their full potential came in the form of one kick-ass song, "A Man Can Change.” The song has been described as a “mix between melodic blues and classic rock with a post-punk twist”. It remains a staple in the band’s lineup.

Since then, the band has continued to produce music that keeps this unique sound, as well as variety of experimental pieces.
